They will probably split the difference. And yes, I do think that the Euro is more trustworthy though it does have a cold bias for the eastern US. Bastardi talked about it a while back.

You need a big lake cutter. Same thing that happened yesterday with the Phasing of the Jets but the merging happens in the southern Plains and the storm track goes from Texas to Great Lakes. That will give you big snows. Still plenty of time.

Back to near 80 next week. Never really had anything that cold here. This would have been 20's 30+ years ago. Soon FL will be lucky to get into the 40's for the coldest days within the next 30 years.

Brutal night back home. -1F near the lake, -17F in the coldest suburbs. Above freezing by Monday just in time for me to go back to work. That would be 16 days straight below freezing.

I’ve made a statement like this before regarding this matter and now, I will say it again, all you Floridians will soon all be living in either a tropical savanna or perhaps even a tropical rainforest climate in some areas. Just be grateful that you’re not freezing your bum off
