This winter will be my first in Bellingham, WA, which gets about twice the snow Seattle gets, and is a few degrees colder on average. So I'm pretty excited about that. It's a definite upgrade.

I would say my first frost won't be long away.

I have a feeling September will be sunny and cool.

That isn't a normal combination for September.. sunny usually means highs stay above 20C

I'll take a blizzard in January for the interest, IF the rest of the winter stays mild

I wouldn't mind getting a mild winter has long has; 2 and a half weeks of january gets below average temperatures including one blizzard (well closest enough in the UK), 5 minor snow events (snow showers wet ground crap) and frosty nights then you can have the rest of the winter mild and it HAS TO BE STORMY!

Take it or leave it..

I like stormy weather so that's fine! It is only drizzle that I hate in winter as precipitation..
