As for this coming winter. I might be trolling you again

You might see more negative anomalies than I will if the UK Met model is correct with it's ENSO set up

Latest fail for Super Nino (alarmist fanatics)

No offense, but out of all the weather preferences on this board I find yours the worst of the worst. The colder the winter the better for you, and then you want baking hot summers. That is a nightmare for me. I prefer stable and closer to normal temps in all seasons.
To each his own. I'm from the Midwest. Extremes are the norm here.

This July so far compared to 2012

You can't appreciate some mild weather in the 70s? It's not like Chicago gets that all the time and it's easier to do stuff outside in

Absolutely. That's in May and September. Not in the middle of the summer.

Compilation of possible record lows from various NWS Forecasting Offices.. Some impressive numbers/records could be beaten. July 17, 2014

50s and 60s might not look "cold" on the map but I have to remember, it is middle of summer.

Dunno why you're complaining, as that's the best kind of day to have in summer.

That's the lovely thing about the UP - they get this kind of weather all summer long.

Awesome. lol. Enjoy the warmup coming... Another Football game end of month looking possible. This time I might be in the game finally! Atlantic Ridge gets shoved East. Western Ridge moves East. So core of trough comes into the East as well. Lets hope! Are we really talking about this in Summer? What happened to the zonal flows? lol

So enjoy the warmth next week (80s) then looks like 70s for Highs again end of July. Is another Typhoon recurving next week?

Did you guys forget that? Remember the typhoon last week? Meant trough in East.
