First real heat of the year for the UK at the end of this week.. finally! I think 90F/32C could be reached, possibly 33C/34C if there are upgrades

It's nuts. PWAT is high. (lots of moisture being wrung out in the atmosphere) Flash Flood warnings left and right (light green boxes). .

I got a little break right now but look at all that rain moving NorthEast.

Heads up.. Tornado Warning in NJ now. Some localized spin ups possible. Temps in the 70s but dewpoints tropical

Action in NJ tonight. Lots of lightning there. Not much in CT/Long Island right now. Lightning is very intense according to some sources I'm seeing. Heading for the coast now.

Third day in a row that Ashcroft and Lillooet, BC have been 40C. Both were 41C yesterday. The next couple days could be 40 as well. It was only 39 here in Vernon yesterday, and a freezing 30C today. Back to the heat tomorrow.

This was the June anomaly for the lower 48.

Now check out the first two weeks of July

Model has this look for July

^^

We will see if this is right. I think the east coast might not be negative for the month, but the Midwest, Central Plains, and parts of the South will.
