Ridge Peak is east more today from yesterday as suspected and naturally. Any storms going on? Probably East of you now on right edge of trough.

I wonder if the "greens" make it to you or even Portugal judging by how far south the trough is. I haven't checked.

Numbers are current surface temps. Back ground color are temps at mid levels. (Green = 5-10C). Cold for Summer here, not sure about there.

Look at the push from the south. Mid Levels are 15-25°C! Therefore surface is warmer as well.

GFS has 850 mb temps down to around 11°C/52°F Monday and then back upwards as another ridge moves in. 5-10°C at mid-levels isn't rare at all here in mid-summer, as opposed to CT.

26°C/79F at 850 hPa tonight over parts of SW France!

You meant storms to the west, not east? There's a cell west of me (current sat image):

The 850's will stabilise and be quite uniform in Europe later next week:

And 2m temps for the only region that really matters :

A tiny 33C/91F near Helsinki Airport. Let's see. By which I mean "not gonna happen".

Could see some temperatures in the Okanagan and Thompson regions sneak above 30 but overall it's cooler.
It's wet and cool in Prince George. 12ºC with showers

Yes, 69F at noon is hard to believe for Shreveport. It's still just 70F as of 1:45 PM. A record low was set last night of 64F, beating the old record of 66F. Tonight Shreveport is supposed to get down to 63F.
