Both love and hate situation today. 88F and dew point around 70 so that is good, but no rain forecast until Thursday now. Evening after evening of nothing but hot sun and haze is really a drag. I want to have big thunderstorms and the soupy humid and cloudy conditions afterward.

But I will savor the temperature staying above 70F the next few nights. When the rain chances increase, there becomes more diurnal range, if you can figure that out.

Meteoservice meteorologist gave and explanation that a cyclone originated from Greenland (as in 1982) and the temperature was -3-4C on 1, 5 km from ground. Thus -could it snow if the 2m temperature would be eg 10C but if the air in heights is cold?

Quick update. MDW broke the 90 degree (32.2C) mark again today. Fifth time this year.

ORD is now at 87F/31C. ORD will probably top out around 89F-90F.

And a look at the 6:10pmEST Heat Index. LARGE area of the U.S feeling like 90s. Lone Rock, Wisconsin is north most at Latitude 43.23°N feeling like 91F.

That 120 is an error. The 110°F is Atoka, OK.
