Hmm. Hotter weather than we've got so far this summer. And more sun in one day than we ever got. Don't think I've seen those diagrams with sunshine hours that high before.

Seems like they're a lot of regulars here that do. I don't like my winters much. Some locals move south because they don't like their native weather. A friend from high school keeps posting how great the weather is after moving to Florida.

How hot has it felt so far?? Well, Looking at Bridgeport, CT. Only 7 times this year hitting 80°F or warmer so far.. 4 of those days was for less than 2 hours that day. So in total the temp was 80+ for only 16 hours this year.

Don't worry, Cold front comes through Thursday but NYC northward will feel the real benefit from it. Not sure if upper 70s/low 80s would be for you.

Latest says southern New England stays in 60s on Saturday (CHILLY for mid June!) then 40s in New England Friday & Saturday night

Here's Saturday afternoon Max. Sunday morning Minimum. 70s to 40s in spots.
Virginia keeps the heat going 90s dropping to 70s for lows.

I've known quite a few people from the UK who despise their "native" weather. And let's not forget this chap (points to self) has no love of southern summers, which is pretty much our "native" season down here. If circumstances were to permit it, I'd be setting down roots up in the Keweenaw Peninsula of upper Michigan already...lol.
I'm almost certain that Owen is a troll, he says he can't understand people who don't like their native weather yet he is always complaining (rightly) about Northern Ireland's crappy weather. Hypocrisy at its finest!

Lots of people in the UK complain about our weather.. myself.included. Today has been an awful day, cloudy and only reaching 19C.. many places in the world have warmer minima than that!

Storms firing in the Ohio Valley. Of course, narrowly avoiding central Kentucky.

35C would tie their record high for June, according to Wikipedia climate stats. The forecast on Weather Underground calls for 36C there on Saturday, which would be a new monthly record. I'd be downright miserable if I were there for that, since I don't think air conditioning is a big thing there.
