Hit 57F/14C this morning as well according to the weather history, so that would explain it, for sure. History : Weather Underground But I'll soon be going out and it seems relatively pleasant. I've been inside all day watching golf so I wouldn't know, lol. I couldn't believe how pleasant it felt in the late afternoon yesterday.

Very heavy rains have fallen over parts of Louisiana and Texas.

Beaumont, Texas got 6.66 inches in just 3 hours.

I got 3.28 inches of rain since about 7:45 PM yesterday. There have been heavy downpours, but I haven't heard any thunder.

Feels like I'm in Florida! Went to the gym and it was sunny, just got out and the clouds had rolled over. Managed to get home before this storm starts

Looking at the lightning map, it seems to be mainly Kent that's getting the full force of the storms. They seem to be pushing East so I'm not sure how much London will get.

Has there been any around London today? We are forecast storms tomorrow, but I won't be holding my breath.

There won't be any thunderstorms in Buxton but I'll look out of my window late in the night to see if I can see any distant lightning. Closest thing to a storm we'll get!

Here's our 850mb temps from here. Obviously red is the normal, black and light green the extremes. Notice in July low single digits is the extreme. Normally in the teens. This morning a little below normal.

Yes west of you. Thanks for the Satellite.
