Summer have finally arrived! Getting consistent 30c readings for the past few days. Finally can feel comfortable in just t-shirts.

No wonder why New England continues to be above normal. That Atlantic High has not budged at all!

Play the loop! It's impressive how it stays in the area wobbling left and right.

So as this trough moves East (notice the cooler 850mb temps) it will have a hard time getting to or past the coast!

Definitely cooler but that high Pressure there IS NOT helping this area get cool! MOVE EAST!

I don't want that high to move east, as it's helping to send the cool air where it belongs. Only 12 days above 90 down here so far, none above 95 - let's keep the mojo going.

How about we compromise and get rid of that high all together and lets all be engulfed by a Polar trough?

Little delayed here but this was the 6am temps over the Northern Plains. Many folks woke up to a cold July morning. Even Nebraska in the 40s!

The departure map link isn't working right now so not sure how far off from normal they are. I WISH I HAD 40s! I never get them in June-July-August and even hard in September. :-(!

Wore a jacket to go out this morning in mid July. Lovely humid subtropical climate. High of 76F today. This would be perfect in late October/early November.

I am so fed up with summer here and turning very depressed.

------------------------------------

Even though they are warming up, its not fair how far off from the normal they are.

I mean can I at least get these lows at least? LOL

Join the club...

Sucks how this worked out. Your 74F dewpoint and thunderstorm would make my day.
