I hope we don't miss out on the storms here. And this is a little unrelated, but the little gap in the KOKX radar has always annoyed me.

sounds a lot more comfortable than chopping wood in the heat of the sun. I'm not home now and under A/C, but there's something about the lack of outside air that feels sterile to me. More comfortable for sure. That storm air smelled really good.

My inside thermometer read 72F when I read this post. Woke up to 67° inside.

Rain just starting. Strong line! Someone local is seeing small hail somewhere. Lightning and thunder continues.

I was hoping the storms would miss us since I wasn't seeing where the storms would come from the radar, but now I'm seeing it, still in PA. Got darker here too.

Another hot day in BC. Low to mid 30's. Severe thunderstorms near Prince George up in Northern BC.
Oh, summer.

0.45" came down in 12 minutes (6:18pm-6:30pm). It was pouring as I was uploading the videos/pics.

But check this out...,. Watched the bolts towards the west and sure enough PINKS! That's some intense stuff with downpours that way.

Then it broke apart right over me. Now that is the norm. Redevelops over Long Island Sound.

6:20pm on left. 20 minutes later on right Poof. Storm weakened.
