ILOVENC, I know you like cool weather, but do you like snow, too? Did you live in western NC? I have another perfect place for you~Rapid City, SD. It has a semi-arid climate and they're having a snowstorm right now.
Yes I LOVE cold weather and I like snow too, I have never lived in North Carolina.....yet I love the climate in Western North Carolina, they have four seasons and the summers are not as hot in the mountains. But I would take your snow storm over the heat and humidity in Houston
