its 41 degrees. Very grey, and raining... been that way going on 4 days now I haven't seen the sun.. But I'm moving back to Fla tonight so ask me if I care The sun could not shine for the next year here for all I care.. and I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't! What a dreary state

Rapid City

Blizzarding with 60 mph wind gusts. Already have 9" of snow and there's over 30" of snow in the higher elevations. I can't see the house across the street and the Interstate is closed for over 100 miles.

Not bad for South Dakota, eh?

Danny, it's SO late in the year for this. That's what we had last Friday, but at least it wasn't May yet.

A half day east of Danny's house~we had severe storms in some areas last night~one tornado, too.

Today is much cooler with 44 and windchill at 35. Our winds are ONLY 23 to 29 mph. 45 is supposed to be our high today/average is 66.

Tara, good luck on your move home. I know you've been miserable over there. Winter just isn't for a lot of people, including me.

ILoveNC, have you ever visited the Black Hills? I think it'd be your kind of place. It really is beautiful out there and you could see Mt. Rushmore, too.

No I haven't been to the Black Hills, but I'm sure I would love it. Right now just about any place sounds better than Houston
