You posted "ACAB", you stated your belief in the 1619 Project and you allege a burglary that we have only your word for. Feel free to set the record straight. And as far as the PD "forgetting" to dust for prints? Lady, you gotta lay off the Hawaii 5-0 reruns. Do you think they "forgot" to seal off the island as well?
Every word I said was absolutely true. The officer who takes the report is not the one who takes the prints - abd he didn't come until the next day but had to leave because he forgot to bring his kit, so he said. Abd returned the day after that, after a hard rain damaged the print on the window.
May God strike me down where I stand if I'm lying.
And I never said I worshipped the 1619 Project as gospel, you really love your hyperbole.
I dont know what you mean about sealing off the island.

I'm an atheist, lady. Do I believe that you filed a claim and received a check? Absolutely. So why not simply explain your position regarding the 1619 Project and ACAB, clear things up once and for all? Mine? Load of crap, and no they're not. See, easy. And you mean to tell me that they DIDN'T seal off the Island?

Man was shot twice overnight on Leander St. in the Manton neighborhood. Not much info yet, but my guess is it happened in the Hillcrest Apartments (public housing).
"PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — A man is in the hospital after he was shot twice in Providence overnight. Police responded to Leander Street around 12 a.m. for a report of a man shot in the arm and chest. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries."

My guess is it didn't. Hillcrest Village is for seniors and isn't a problem. The nearby houses are.
I wouldn't get too comfortable with that. Those senior high rises were initially intended for the elderly, but they have "evolved" to take on additional roles (taking in others on "assistance") and some have turned into horrible places as a result...talking a step above the projects here.
I suppose it's possible it happened at one of those two duplexes, one of them does have an Altima parked in the driveway after all (for some reason that's a popular thugmobile). But the odds are still small vs. the 100(s) of units at Hillcrest.
And I get what you're saying about low income public housing for seniors. Historically, though, those places in Providence have not been a problem. And they are all over the city, including a high rise in a very rough part of Smith Hill.
There was a recent shooting in the parking lot at Parente Villa in Federal Hill. That is also low income public housing for seniors, but that happened because the parking lot is a known trouble spot as it's a hangout for young people (not the residents of Parente Villa).
