This is right on the Cranston (Edgewood) and Providence (Washington Park) line, and it is across the street from the main entrance of Johnson & Wales University.

That's the Silver Lake neighborhood - on the edge of Olneyville. It's where Plainfield Street and Pocassett Ave meet, and very close to El Rancho Grande (permanently closed?).

"Cranston police said they arrested a man and a woman in connection to a stabbing. Officers said they responded to Northup Street just before 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Col. Michael Winquist said they arrested 28-year-old Ashley Brogno, of West Warwick, and 31-year-old Brian Raymond, of Cranston."
On Wednesday night at approximately 8:00 pm, there was a shots fired incident in the North End (Charles neighborhood) of Providence. The Providence police found 34 shell casings on Luna Street (off Branch Ave).
Right by where this stabbing occurred in February. Being right on the border with South Providence (Washington Park), that area is prone to trouble.
So it happened in Cranston and the people charged were frim West Warwick and Cranston...and still you find a reason to slag off Providence. Thats pretty funny.
