It is believed to be unrelated to the fatal shooting, but it happened just up the street near the 7-11 and GI Joe convenience store (Smith Street & Chalkstone Ave).

The victim is apparently the owner of GI Joes and he was shot in the leg.
Shooting in Smith Hill, in a location that often comes up and never for a good reason. Please note that this was not "fireworks".

NEW: Robbery Suspect Fires Shots at Providence Police Officer

https://www.golocalprov.com/news/new...police-officer

"Police apprehended four suspects Friday following an armed robbery in Providence, which lead to a car chase -- and a round fired by the suspect at the pursuing officer. About Incident
On Thursday before midnight, a Providence patrolman pulled into the parking lot of 7-eleven 460 Smith Street. Unbeknownst to the officer, there was a robbery in progress occurring inside the store.
The assailant walked into the store moments before the officer pulled in. According to witnesses, the assailant walked behind the counter and fired a round into the lower side cabinet then pointed the gun at the clerk's head. Several customers were in the store and all fled as the shot was fired. The assailant took money from the register and walked toward the exit. As the assailant approached the door to exit, he fired two additional shots into the ceiling.
When he exited, he walked in front of the officer in his vehicle and pointed the gun at him. The officer then followed the assailant who got into a waiting car in the lot of Chop Sticks restaurant. The vehicle fled and the officer followed it onto Ruggles Street."

That's Chengdu Taste. GoLocal got it wrong, and the former business at that location was Little Chopsticks.

Don't listen to him. He makes things up about me.

Are you telling me a policeman lied and was purposefully derelict in his duties?

Is that supposed to be...better?

(Nothing alleged about it, I filed the report and received the insurance check)

I'm saying there is no way to know if it was targeted or random because know one knows anything else except that someone heard gunshots.

No one knows if those gunshots were fired in error, in legal defense, or to target someone

You posted "ACAB", you stated your belief in the 1619 Project and you allege a burglary that we have only your word for. Feel free to set the record straight. And as far as the PD "forgetting" to dust for prints? Lady, you gotta lay off the Hawaii 5-0 reruns. Do you think they "forgot" to seal off the island as well?

The one thing we know...TO THE BEST OF OUR KNOWLEDGE...is that shots were fired at the corner of Camp St. and Doyle Ave.. I don't understand what the confusion here.

And what is "fired in error" supposed to mean???
