If the someone trying to get his members back ends up killing them because they dont want to go back, all well?
Not "all well". Of course not. What kinda thing is that to ask?
But that has happened countless times throughout history with "reunification" efforts of all types, big and small.
Putin's desire for the Republic is no more or less "legitimate" than any other view of it.
The U.S. is only aiding them now...because they have the goods on our leader, and he is compromised due to corrupt activity.
They needed our help even more the last time Russia took some of the Republic back, the time previous Biden was in office...but they didn't get it.
But that was before Biden was involved in corrupt dealings with them and got millions.
That's utter nonsense. I've about as low opinion of Biden as is possible but the idea that he could be hurt by anything Ukraine might say is silly. He has his entire party and the media and the DOJ covering for him and would just dismiss any allegations as phony and be done with it. "Ukraine corruption" would go about as far as "Hunter's laptop".
Putin's desire for the Republic is no more or less "legitimate" than any other view of it.
Here's a crazy thought: Perhaps the Ukrainians - who are fighting like goddamn demons to not be smothered by Russia again - may have a legitimate view?
The U.S./NATO should not interfere with the attempt to get them back.
Russia decided to settle the question with warfare. The embodiment of "Might makes right." It's a bit pathetic for them to whine about the unfairness of it all once they realized they weren't the strongest.
Like Argentina still complaining about the Falklands - once your country decides to settle a territorial question with warfare, don't whine about historical justifications. You wanted to settle it with force, live with the outcome.
God, the Russian (and tankie) sniveling grinds my gears. It's so embarrassing. Man up and deal with the consequences. Or at least shut up.

I said "Putin's desire for the Republic is no more or less "legitimate" than any other view of it."
That would mean any other view would be no more or less legit than his...including the Ukrainians that want to remain in the "gang" they have been in since 1991.
I'm talking about giving them 100 Billion of our taxpayers money...when we are 31 Trillion in debt, plagued with inflation & many hurting, even homeless. We need that money for our own people.
We didn't spend that much for a year of fighting in the Middle East on two fronts.
That's double Russia's entire annual Defense Budget...a crazy amount of money.
Who doesn't see that doesn't pass the smell test?
ONE HUNDRED BILLION?!! Get outta here with that scam!!
Not to mention backing a ruthless leader into a corner.
Most say, "He would never use nukes...he's bluffing". Typically the same that said, "He won't attack...he's bluffing".
