the thing that gets me about these lovers of Putin on here, some of them live right here in the good ol US of A...if I were President I would exile their asses straight over to Siberia..
I'm puzzled as to why the Russians would think that they could attack despite being outnumbered and think things would turn out well.
I think it was a combination of several things:
1. They thought the initial decapitation assault on Kiev would be successful (you know the ones the Russian apologists here have now decided was just a feint) leaving the Ukraine capital in Russian control and Ukrainian leadership in disarray.
2. They underestimated Ukraine's military and the resolve of NATO allies to supply them.
3. They really believed more Ukrainians would be welcoming them as liberators instead of digging in to fight
The best Russian soldiers, Wagner Group, are believed to be in Bahkmut, which is probably why it's a struggle for the Ukrainians as of now. Eventually, they should prevail like Lyman where the Wagner group had to retreat knowing that they would've been surrounded and killed.
What I'm hearing is the Ukrainians have pushed the Wagners back 2 kilometers in the past 48 hours, essentially negating all the "gains" the Russians made for the past two months.
Europe has turned a surprising corner in preparation for the continent’s much-discussed impending energy crisis. The European Union now has more liquefied natural gas than it needs, according to reports from Bloomberg and the New York Times.
Ports are reportedly backed up, with tankard ships waiting to offload their gas supply to countries already flush with fuel, said the NYT. The E.U.’s gas storage has reached 93.6% capacity overall, with Germany storage at 97.5% full, according to Bloomberg. And natural gas prices have fallen to their lowest level since June, according to the Financial Times, and currently sit at levels less than a third of what they were during August’s record peak.

Have you realized America is not in Ukraine?
Who knows who is in Ukraine. Some speak American English. But our weapons our tech and we are taking care financially of Ukraine like a 13 year old girl. Hell we're paying salaries pensions I bet we're even buying lunch. So who ya kidding?
