When this war ends, it will only end for Ukraine.
The economic warfare opened on Russia will continue for a very long time and Russia will not be able to win that war. Russia's military capabilities will deteriorate as other countries continue to build new weapons and develop new technology that is simply unavailable to Russia.

Perhaps a Russia leader will come along who knows better than try to expand territory forcefully.

Putin begged Turkey to supply Russia with Bayraktar drones. Turkey said sorry we do not supply terrorists with drones.

It's the weapon which can't be used.

China and Iran are fair weather friends. Once Russia is no longer useful to them, they will abandon Russia.

I agree.

Putin was not planning to burn up so much hardware and ammunition. He doesn't care about the people who are incinerated in those tanks, so long as it is not him.

I’m not sure who is hurting worse from this economic warfare that was meant to crush Russia. They haven’t came close to collapse, and have commodities to continue feeding and fueling their country, meanwhile Europe cannot feed or fuel itself, that will become apparent this winter. Returning to normalized trade relations will benefit citizens all across Europe and beyond, I’m ready for that. US has waged plenty of wars in the name of protecting democracy or our national interests, I don’t hate Russia for doing the same even though I oppose all war and hope for peace. This should of never happened but here we are, I guess that is a conversation for another day, but let’s say that global leadership is severely lacking competence right now.

I’ll go so far as to say not only are we losing the economic war (we’ve entered a recession, EU is getting hit even harder), we’re also losing the military war. We don’t seem to have a strategy or anyway out of this either which is frightening. It’s beyond time to wake up and change course but we have a president asleep at the chair and I’m afraid special interests are running things.
