Anybody know what is happening on the old trail across of Cancer Care and Valley Dental?

A little more up the road but looks like Danville has a new spa/saloon construction on Rt. 11 close to across of the Danville state entrance. Busy this morning with Heritage Days as there was a ton of people running across 11 at the school.

My husband heard it was going to be a housing development. If that's true, I guess that's why they're filling in the low area.

Anybody know if they are replacing tubes or are they planning on building something in front of Wal Mart beside the Color/Mattress building? Looks like they are doing something but couldn't really see much driving as traffic was insane this morning.

I heard the parking lot at Wal-mart would expand into the drainage area so they'd have to build a new drainage area. Not sure if that's what you're seeing or not.

Yes, the new part they are excavating nearest 11/15 will be addition to the new part of the parking lot. They will be adding a second entrance (similar to that of Lewisburg's store) near the previous garden center entrance and expanding south to the previous "Tire Lube" end to accommodate the new hard/soft lines areas. Apparently where the McDonald's/men's dept is now, will be the new location for the grocery section in the new Super Walmart. It appears as though (based on the plans) that the store will be laid out like Lewisburg's store for the most part. Hope this helps! :-)

Thanks for the info Dawne and SakiSake!

I never knew there was a gun shop in downtown Selinsgrove. Sadly the owner and his friend hanging out seemed non-friendly and weird (not going to repeat what he randomly said out loud but way inappropriate for a business). The shooting background pictures are a hoot to look at though!

The Tasty Freeze type building looks great. Can't wait to go there once it opens!

I see there's a dumpster in front of the other half of the old Superpetz building (next to the medical clinic). Will something be going in there soon? Does anyone know what it will be?
