Sheetz has been doing teardown/rebuilds all over. Usually they are putting in beer cages too, well at least that's what they are in other states' Sheetz locations.

I drove down Bridge St. behind the old site for Ott Packaging (The lot diagonal to Weis Markets on Broad st/204) and the building is almost down, except for an L-Shaped shell facing 522 and 204. I heard that Weis is looking to close the store at the Mall (Lease apparently is up in 2014) and the one on Broad St. to open a large store at the former Ott Building location. Who knows if it's true; but it's a nice big lot that's for sure! I also heard that SASD was interested in buying the current Broad St. Weis store location for years now since it adjoins the Elem school. Who knows if that's true either?

What you heard about Weis building a new store where Ott was is true!! I worked at Ott for almost 20 years!! It was very sad for all the great people that worked there!! I have also heard that the one at the mall will be closing!! I dont know if the school will buy the old weis on broad or not?? They like all schools have financial issues!!
