I thought it was unusual and I did find it interesting. Many reviews are at one extreme or the other; i.e., 'brilliant' or terrible--each to their own.
Based on your feedback, I'm going to watch this one tonight. I watched the preview again & initially skipped it because it takes place in 1 location, which could be compelling or claustrophobic & boring for the viewer. But, I'll give it a go, because I do like Thomas Hardy. Cheers for the reminder!

Here's an imdb link to some interesting film trivia.

The Defiant Ones (1958), last night on TCM. Lon Chaney Jr. with the torch, Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier standing in the top right back. First bit of trivia from IMDB's listing:

A technical advisor on board during filming had to go uncredited, because he was a real-life chain gang escapee who was still a wanted man.

My boyfriend and I saw "The Wedding Ringer" yesterday.

I'm not a fan of Kevin Hart at all, but it was soooo funny! I highly recommend it!

Limitless.

This movie really deserved more than 7.4 in my opinion. It's well acted, has a great storyline and it's really funny in its own way.
