I want to see this. I actually have a queue for movie I want to see in the theater. Paul Thomas Anderson, Richard Linklater, and I keep looking for the Dardenne brothers' film.

Also watched Foreign Correspondent (1940) on TCM yesterday.

In terms of plot, I can see where someone might say that. But for the movie overall, "not very original" simply does not apply to Boyhood.

Catching on movies this weekend. I just saw Blue Jasmine which turned out to be better than I expected although I felt there was no real conclusion at the end.

If you thought "Philomena" was well done check out older film called "The Magdelene Sisters", another about the homes for unwed mothers in Ireland...
I can't believe the Catholic Church still has any members with at least a 6th grade education---
to me it is the worst political machine in history clocked under the "religious" mantle--
worse than almost any other dictator/regime/culture since beginning of time because of its longevity and ability to manipulate its image in the world...

I actually chose not to see that one... looked TOO like from the Dark Ages...like
I might as well, watch a movie on the Salem Witch Trials! Too intense, 'for ME', anyway.
But thanks.
