That's okay, Amber. You're allowed. That's what life's for... figuring it out, choices, changes & sometimes circling back to what we did before... or not. Enjoy the ride!

A few nights ago, I watched it, too. It was interesting & well done, especially for someone like me who can ride a bike, but knows absolutely nothing about the sport of cycling, or bikes for that matter. However, I was utterly stunned that although Armstrong thinks he's coming clean & does to some extent, he still denies so much, doesn't take responsibility for more, lies about even more & his arrogance makes him a severely unlikeable character. The badgering & bullying he did to others, in several cases for almost a decade, is astounding to me.

I heard an interview recently, in which an author (forget who, but I could hunt it down), who wrote a book about psychopaths, said Lance was a high order psychopath... corrupt, caring nothing about others, too self-absorbed to see beyond himself & willing to do virtually anything (lying, bribing, cheating & ruining others' lives, in his case) in order to excel (or better yet, walk over others), just for starters.

Overall, I was shocked by Lance. He's appealing for the great, determined, dedicated, charismatic athlete he is & simultaneously shocking in how devoid of conscience, heart (for other humans) & soul (for taking anything/one else into consideration, but himself) he is. I'm glad I don't know him.

4.5* out of 5.

Horse Whisperer w/Robert Redford, Kristin Scott Thomas & Scarlett Johansson (as a young girl)

and

Prince of Tides w/Barbra Streisand, Nick Nolte

It really makes my day when someone like this gets caught - so many times they never do - they just leave so much damage in their wake.

You're so on the money, but I won't spoil any of the doc. People like him amaze me. I can't imagine doing harm to others only for my own benefit. I'm also wondering if egotists like him get a thrill out of controlling, manipulating & berating others, in addition to benefiting in other ways. Honestly, I didn't know a lot about him... the more I watched, the harder I had to control my desire to just duck out of the rest. By the end, I had no compassion for him whatsoever... he's that unlikeable... like Bernie Madoff.

I'd be interested to hear what you think once you've seen it, Unbria.
