I watched August: Osage County. Movie about a dysfunctional family in Oklahoma. Great acting by Mery Streep,as usual, and the rest of the cast was good too. Julia Roberts, as she get's older, is branching out of her "Pretty Woman" typecast, and getting more of an edge, thought she was great.

I also watched World War Z last night on Netflix; already saw it at the movie theatre, but it's a great film, if you like that sort of thing, and I do.

My taste in movies is so all over the map...

X-Men in 3D (newest one) ... good but a bit overrated on IMDB. It seems like any marvel movie with a half decent story gets 8.5 ratings these days.

Last movie i saw was How to Train Your Dragon2.It was actually pretty good and I enjoyed it. My sister and her husband went to a sneak preview of Everely with Salma Hyak. Not sure if they saw it at Palisades Mall or some theatre in NYC.Anyhow, they told me it is funny, yet rather violent. It's about a woman who has a boss invovled with the mob and the mobsters go after Salma. There 's a lot of shooting and explosions, for example, she drops a grenade down an elevator shaft. Then there's a boom and you see blood hit the wall. Oh and the tag line in the movie is "Boy,that's a lot of dead ho's." My sister asked if I had seen Kill Bill, and I said yes,on tv,and they said it was along those lines. Then after the movie they had to fill out comment cards.
Usually that means they take the cards, read the comments and then maybe reshoot scenes or re-edit the thing before it's released.

Saw Intruders (2011) last night on Netflix DVD, supposed to be a thriller with Clive Owen...I wasn't that thrilled and apparently I wasn't alone. Cost ~$13 million and only made ~$3 million at the box office.

August was good but man it was depressing. I love World War Z! So happy it's on streaming.

Watched Sanctum last night. If you're at all claustrophobic like I am, don't watch it. It's set in underwater caves. It was just one giant claustrophobic panic attack for me.
