My initial jabs were at a hospital in Connecticut. I’m sure I could walk into my local Massachusetts pharmacy, lie, and get a 4th booster. Different state. I have different health insurance. The Massachusetts portal only shows my one booster jab at a local Walgreens.

We have a London/Galicia Spain trip penciled in for mid-September. I’d like to be boosted before that trip. It would be a huge PITA to get COVID-19 outside the US. My guess is they’ll open up 4th boosters for age 65+ and high risk groups fairly soon. I’ll probably delay so I have strong efficacy when I’m in Europe. I’m not so concerned about US and Canada travel. We’re planning to be in Vancouver but I can quarantine in my sister’s basement suite if disaster happens.

I do qualify but nobody at CVS really checked credentials beyond the timing and which dosage you got, so my wife went and got one also. No problem.

That's good to know, thanks.

That's been going around. My kids and Wife got hit with that a few weeks ago. Fun times. Looks like now that everything is back wide open, all those other germs are getting passed around again.

Amazingly, the last time I was sick with anything was Feb 2020. (knock on wood) It's been a nice stretch...

For those discussing 4th shots, do you plan on getting boosters 2x per year indefinitely?

As long as Covid strains are potentially more threatening than a common cold, I would have no problem with that.

If, and If, i decide to get a 4th booster, i would look at it almost like a flu shot.

I wouldn't take it mid summer if cases are low like last summer. I would wait until the fall and treat it like a flu shot timing it before a peak. As I get older and more high risk, i would consider it more strongly.

Right now, based on current data and my risk profile, I wont be getting a 4th shot anytime soon.

Sort of how I felt. I got symptomatic Covid recently (double vaxed and boosted) so I guess I’m covered for awhile anyway.

Yes.
I already take a daily pill and a biweekly shot to stay functional.
Viruses have been bad for me, medical science has saved my life.
Not much to discuss.

This is essentially how I feel as well.
