Oh wow, you got me there! I've been out of the casino-hotel stuff for a long while now, I haven't a clue what the going rate is.

I'm sorry I couldn't be of help there, but whatever it is it's better than nothing, right? And benefits, 2 squares a day in EDR, retirement...

I'm sure it will be something that you'll find agreeable Tamiko, let us know, k?

You're going to do just great!

Butterfly, I don't remember her name, but she was funny. She said I sounded nervous and I needed to breathe, lol. She said your fine, your fine, just breathe and keep checking your voicemail and email. Lol, is it that obvious that I'm freaking out over here?

This is nerve racking and frustrating at times and everything, but it's also so EXCITING! I know we will look back at this process as a neat chapter of our lives. It's pretty cool the little "support group" we've created here.

Sad part is fontainebleau was supposed to open this month which would have been an alternative to cc. It would have created another 8000- 9000 jobs.

i moved here aug 15 from biloxi ms. I know one person that got a rejection letter soon after their interview and another that got a positive letter soon after interviews something along the line of "the future of Las Vegas is near, and you are one step closer to being a part of it". However, the person that recieved the positive letter DID take a drug test. I don't know for sure of any cocktails that are transferring but there may be alot or there may be a few. I think it would all depend on if they are happy working in the same section every night at their current positions. It is my understanding that the cocktail server positions at CC are going to be sections that are rotated every week, not you bid on a section and thats the one you work until another bid comes open. The casino I worked at in MS we rotated sections and it worked out well. Everyone had a fair chance a making good money. However, some nights were good and some were bad. I remember my first interview, they said something about 175 positions open for cocktails. My second interview was with a woman I believe to be Kristy ( long curly dark brown hair) her desk was caddi-corner to Heidi. Best of luck to everyone, I hope we all find out today.
