Wow! It's huge. Good to see the church is prospering I guess. Looks like they still haven't got much off street parking.

Jerry lived on East Sea between Trail Ridge and Queen Ridge. I believe he was the second house west of Queen Ridge. Their house was more contemporary than the neighbors. He would have had a large back yard and the ground did slope from Trail Ridge to Queen Ridge along Sea.

Lived up the hill from you? This was the Gates home on East Sea.

My immediate first guess was the Independence Square Townhomes but they are or were townhomes and are rather close to town so then my second thought was the Sterling Creek apartments on Sterling and my third was the Cimmaron Apartments off Truman Road.

Independence Square would been barely inside the city limits. Sterling would not have been east of Independence. If Cimmaron Apts are the apartments between South Kiger and where Stewart Sand used to be, that would not be 3 miles east of the city limits, but then they said town and not city limits, so I have no idea, but I took my stab.

Chuckle, I went west (or southwest) young man for both choices. Had a brain burp--or worse. Cimmaron is out at Stone Arch bridge vicinity.

Hialeah sounds good. They are 60ish.

I do believe the Independence Square Town Homes were the first town homes to be erected in Independence.

Nope, nada, and incorrect. Cimmaron was originally called Stone Arch.

The apartment complex along the south side of Truman east of Kiger was built as Hillside. It is not the complex in question.

What is your guess about distance from town? Square or city limits?

Hocker Heights is not 3 miles east of even the square.
