I'm watching the 7-day average infection rate and it was under 1% recently and 0.0% for a while - but we've crept back up to 2.4% A far cry from back in the early part of the year, but it IS trending upward. Of course, we don't know if these folks are residents or visitors, but it's reflective of those getting tested in our part of the world. If it keeps trending upward, I may decide to cool my jets! Still wearing masks indoors, but have been eating out - for now!

I am wearing the mask in doors shopping. We have not gone inside to eat as of yet. DH would but being in the thick of it here I am not willing to do so.

We could be risking it, but we're back to doing things, going places, and eating out. No masks, but we distance ourselves from others. We've had painters here, window installers, and other repair people in our home, the last 3 weeks. None with masks on during these hot, humid days when these guys are doing physical work.

Had an electrician here last week who came it with a mask on and I said you're safe we are vaccinated and I was not planning on being in the same room anyway and he said, "Ok thanks, but I have not" I about ran for the hills!!!!

We have gone out a couple of times. I am just fed up with cooking, plus the heat doesn't help. As you, we try to distance ourselves and the people who work in the restaurants are still wearing masks. We had a guy come in for our HVAC maintenance contract and he did ask if we needed him to wear a mask. When we said no and we were both vaccinated he said "Me, too!" If I go somewhere that I don't think is doing a good job at cleaning I will still wear a mask, and do keep one in the car just in case. But it is a relief to not have to wear one most of the time as I was starting to hyperventilate more with them. I would go to an aisle in the store where there was no one, remove the mask and take some deep breaths, put it back on and finish as fast as possible.

My birthday is coming up in less than 2 weeks so I'm looking forward to using my "birthday freebies" this year! Didn't get to use them last year, of course.
