He laughs and says " when the lights and water go off and they don't pick up the garbage I will call and explain that I was so bereaved that I forgot to look and I will pay it then."

The Part D he thinks he is in control of because you get 10K advertisements in the mail to change.

I do have a bible of instructions, but then he would have to remember where it is!!!!
I laughed so hard at this! DH says that if anything happens to me he will starve and die in the dark and poor because he will never find all the money or be able to pay the bills! I write about 4 checks a year and everything else is online. I do have a book with IDs and passwords in it, but that's about it. Up until about 3 years ago he still had a flip phone through work. I upgraded my phone to a Samsung S7 almost 4 years ago and gave him my S4 as his boss texts and it was too hard for him to text on his flip phone. His boss pays for it so he just took the phone to Verizon and they reset it for him. And that's what he is using! I keep checking pricing with Verizon so I can upgrade to a S20 and give him my S7 but I dread teaching him how to use the S7.

Yep about the part D as well. I do the research, print out the info (just for show to let him think he helped) and say....this is what I'm going to sign us up for. You will need to move your prescriptions to CVS from WalMart. I do the taxes as well. I do the PA and local Altoona, PA ones (he works there part time) by hand and just stick them under his nose and tell him to sign. I do the DE and Federal ones with Turbo Tax and e-file and use electronic signatures. I should probably do your bible thing, but he learns better watching than reading.

They MUST be related. I did the bible so he can hand it off to my sister who is really tech savvy. He had a flip phone. I got him a trac phone - he was lost and I had the iPhone so I decided that he needed one. We now both have one. He is ok with the routine stuff, but sending a photo or attaching it to an email which is easy as pie on the iPhone.....not so much.

His Part D went from $23.30 to $97.50, if he did nothing and they do not cover one of his meds at all!!! His drug costs would have been $8000!!!!!

I have all the online payments listed, with passwords but he will be lost.

I have none of those problems regarding The husband and The Iphone/or other.
I will not allow him to have a phone. He has enough problems trying to find a program on T.V. using the Comcast microphone.

Talk about meds!!!! I refilled my husband's Eliquis to the tune of $426.26 (no generics for that med). We're in the donut hole.

Now the really bad news is that we lost 15 people yesterday. This is nothing to fool around with. In addition. I noticed that they revised the percentages for the 10/28 number ( ones I reported yesterday) to be 7.6% and 10.1%.

For anyone who is interested........Someone forwarded me this article for the NEW COVID RULES for visiting NY. The "naughty" lists are going away and these rules will be applied to everyone except PA, NJ and Conn, yet there are severe hotspots in at least PA and NJ. Go figure. Good and bad parts. From what I am reading the quarantine period has been decreased to 3 days on arrival, but two tests are required. One 3 days before you arrive and another one 4 days after. Since I don't know how much is charged, or if Medicare pays for them, it could be pricey.
