I think Nuts is doing a great job as well! I hope your husband is doing better, Nuts. Having a spouse who is recovering can be very stressful. Mine was very ill for months this year and I totally get how they can be! Mine insisted on finished up some back deck repairs only a month after he fell very ill. He was in slow motion the entire time and that was with me helping.

I thought there were many visitors this year at the beaches--especially down my way. I think it was one of our busiest summers ever, as far as renters and people coming down all summer. Traffic was insane. I am sure the businesses did not fare as well given the covid restrictions, but make no doubt about it...people came down regardless. It was a pretty stressful summer for us, just too much chaos. Much better now though although still very busy for being almost October.

Hubs and I finally visited the Rehoboth boardwalk for some Thrasher's on the Wednesday before Labor Day. It was not crowded that day and there wasn't even a line for the fries. It was HOT so many people were still on the very crowded beach. Masks were everywhere on the boardwalk.

Ok Liz, you and I are obviously coming back as males! I will say comparatively speaking the traffic was virtually light thru a good deal of July and into the early days of August and then it seemed to pick up. I have still not been walking on Rehoboth Avenue but I agree that in driving the avenue it does seem to be mostly masked people.

Nuts.......Glad to hear hubby is doing better, but he has to take care of himself! Since when do men ever listen to their wives!!! I have to beg mine to take care.

Sending good vibes his way! And we are definitely grateful for your efforts.
