Here are the snow totals reported through NWS..

Don't see any from NWS Albany for Litchfield. I don't think anything accumulated there.

Thanks to our elliptical orbit, we've actually gained two minutes of light in the evening (4:22 PM!). Still losing a few more minutes overall for the morning, however.
I'm with you!! I've had to clear snow Saturday, Sunday, Monday (Tuesday rain helped), Thursday and today. Still need to do more today.

Are we done yet?

7:45am temps.. Only 25° here but teens across our state again this morning. Warm front comes in tonight. Chance of snow overnight then maybe drizzle tomorrow near the coast.

Rain Christmas eve or day before.
Arctic blast after that

15*F here in Danbury / Bethel. With the warm up coming, I better make another run to the woodpile before everything melts and the yard turns to mud

Is there a front between CT and NYC? I'd normally attribute it to that old "urban heat island" there but I see a lot of 30s across all of southern PA, so I'm wondering.....besides, Boston has it's own "heat island" and while Logan Airport is usually a bit colder in the morning than Central Park, it's not often it's by 15 degrees unless fronts are at play!

Will be interesting to see if that -19 up at Saranac Lake, NY ends up being the coldest temp in the continental US today, a site I look at on this says it is so far. On Friday, Mt. Washington, NH (at -18) was the lower 48 cold spot. Unlike summer, it isn't near-automatic this time of year that the coldest spot is in the Rockies or Sierra Nevadas, in fact yesterday it was in northern Michigan.
