Precip Totals from My Backyard this year.


Only 3 months with under 4". None under 3".


January: 3.71"
February: 6.23
March: 3.63
April: 6.36
May: 3.08"
June: 5.85"
July: 4.48"
August: 5.08"
September: 11.57"
October: 6.29"
November: 5.53"

Total so far: 61.81"

Here's a look at Precip totals this year so far. Not including this overnight rain storm.

Baltimore with 65".
Hartford 57".
Bridgeport 53"
Boston 48".

Come Spring I will be hoping and wanting a long drought! But for now I want this activity to keep going (More snow chances!)

Split some wood, load up the wheel barrow to bring it to the stacks....sunk about 4 inches into mud.....please, no more rain

Sorry.... 6 more times in next 2 weeks. I'm hoping 1 of them is snow at least. Gees. Let this pattern continue now. I need full on drought condition come spring. lol


Top 10 coldest Novembers in CT. Not sure who is 5th coldest there. Have to check site and zoom in soon.

I think my deck was dry for a brief moment in May, and it may not be dry again till next May

Going today to pickup a tarp for the log rack on the side of the house. Already tarped the ring by the front porch. Kids were out yesterday and my yard is a muddy slick mess, there is just so much water in the ground.
