As the article itself notes, Boston is in even more of a "snow drought" than NYC or CT as the "November surprise" was mostly south of them. Logan Airport has just 0.2" of snow so far, the least amount of snow ever for them up to this date (records go back to 1872, though I am not sure where in Boston they recorded before the airport opened, my guess would be somewhere in Boston Common).

The weekend storm is coming into forecast range of the NWS. 50% chance of snow state-wide on Saturday night into Sunday. Let's lock in that cold air.

Friday as well. Might be a couple inch pre game show.

New Euro brings in a surge of warm air aloft during the peak Sunday while surface is below freezing. Snow to Ice to Rain.

Weekend Storm Update::

Latest GFS, Canadian, German, and Euro models for the weekend Front/Storm.

GFS and ICON have similar tracks, GFS Snowier.
Canadian has multiple lows and warmest. Rain.
Euro goes over Philly & NYC. Snow to Ice to Rain for us..

There's going to be snow falling on Friday so heads up on that! I'm taking a vacation day for that. Not gonna get caught again.

This is a great track to have for us. Keeps us on the cold side of things but not a true coastal storm so might be moving fast..

Actually this part is not true. Here in the NW suburbs of Boston we got 6 - 8" from the Nov 15 - 16 event. Logan being close to the warm water, stayed mostly rain.

Yup, you're right.

Here are the snow totals from Mid November our biggest snowstorm of the season still. Logan got screwed but the suburbs got half foot+

Heard 3 different reports

1.) 7 inches with ice & sleet
2.) Around 7 inches
3.) Around a foot and some change

Any truth to these???
