We are now outside the cone of NHC. No chance of affecting us other than rain and little wind but most of the rain would be from the front. Fun and interesting to know there will be an Extra Tropical system right off shore Friday. So close.

Rain it is. We'd be getting it from the cold-front anyway.

If anyone reading this is near or will be near the SouthEast CT or Rhode Island coast, head to the beach Friday evening or early Saturday morning and take some pictures.

Feels like it's going to be another disgusting day. Maybe even worse than yesterday.

Yup..Today and Tomorrow worst of the week.

Here's the Heat Index forecast for today. It's not even a heat wave out there. Temps in the Upper 80s near 90 only but It's the muggy air that will be the killer. Dewpoints in the tropical 70s!

As soon as Arthur & front leave we dry out. But rest assure its summer in CT and the mugginess comes back Monday thereafter until the next break. At least we're getting these breaks!

Once was a cool 4th of July morning, now it's for Saturday with the slower front.

GFS minimum temps Sat morning. Notice the coast still 60s even with cool dry Canadien air.. lol

Fox CT did a pretty good job on this one. Joe Furey came on this morning and called it a non-event pretty promptly. Some showers tonight into Thursday and more rain Friday morning but clearing for the better part of the weekend.

Kicked the A/C on last night finally, house is a comfortable 77. No need to crank it to 74 yet, I just wanted the humidity gone.
