Both Greenville Radio Shack locations should be closing shortly. There is a Radio Shack in the Greenville Mall and a location by the Walmart on Greenville Blvd.
Additionally, there are 2 new buildings going up on the first block of East Arlington Blvd. near Firetower Rd. One is on the east side of Arlington and it appears to be a largish Christian school. The other is on the west side of Arlington and it appears to be a small business building similar to the others that are already there.
I have no clue on how the entire Radio Shack company has survived this long. Never see actual transactions taking place in their stores, just random browsers.
Are you sure that Arlington/Firetower construction isn't One Source on one side of the street and expansion of The Madison condos (formerly Hyde Park) on the other?
I still don't know what's being built behind the WilcoHess at Allen and Dickinson. Anyone know?

It may be the One Source building. It will probably look a lot like the other buildings that are already there for continuity.
The building on the other side is definitely a Christian school. There is a sign up that advertises it as such.
Are you referring to Children's World Learning Center construction on Arlington near Firetower? This is a daycare/preschool facility being built to open in August and will be their 3rd location in Greenville.
Haha.. I know! Not many things rile me up.. But this issue does. Its just ridiculous and environmentally inconsiderate. His logic about it reducing flooding is crazy too. Ok, i'll .
Does anyone here remember if there were discussions about possible routes for I-44 from Raleigh to Norfolk? I vaguely remember some attempt at getting 264 considered. It is a moot point now, but it seems to me that using 264 and connecting Greenville, the pamilco river, in addition to the Albemarle sound and Elizabeth city makes much more sense for the state than say... Tarboro.
