After a quiet start, 3 happened today in Montreal. City now at 5 for the year.

Not an isolated incident but seems to be another person going insane/domestic

Fresno at 6 (550k)
Body found yesterday, but supposedly no foul play.

Police killing last week, which may turn into a homicide(its being investigated). 7 if that gets counted.

Thankfully the "The Butcher of Bakersfield" isn't running those streets anymore.

Really a tie. But Montreal provides a more pleasant urban experience as it doesn't have as many pockets of urban decay as Philly...

This is basically the deadliest period for Canadian police officers ever. 8 have been killed in the past 6 months which going at that rate, I believe it’s close to or even higher than the murder rate for American police officers.

The number of people killed by police in Canada has also skyrocketed with 69 people killed in various incidents last year. Canada used to have a far lower rate of police homicides than the USA, but now it’s more than half the rate of the USA.

Good for STL numberwise, per capita the city must at least have to wait 2 or 3 months of at least 1 homicide per 6 days if St Louis does not wants to end up murder capital per capita
