Hampton is at 12 now, a 19 y/o shot dead and another injured after someone approached their car and started shooting in Aberdeen last night. Also yesterday a shooting in the Buckroe area after an argument left one in critical condition. 100% increase from this time last year.

There's a few, like the Phoebus area, West Buckroe, Rip Rap/King St; but the worst is Wythe area, between Shell Rd and Victoria Blvd.

And if you consider how concentrated those homicides are in DC compare to Baltimore (which is more spread throughout the city), there are definitely areas that are as bad as the worst of Chicago.

But hey...the DC City Council is still living in some utopia. They probably still think that overturned crime bill is a good idea despite the objection from the mayor herself.

Why should Chicago be the paul bearer of worst neighborhoods? What about the worst areas of Philly or St Louis. I'm sure someone would have the numbers to show that some Baltimore blocks are as bad as any in Chicago or DC.
