This happened last month and just now reported in in the media and ruled a homicide

West End man who left his apartment door unlocked murdered by New Yorker who snuck in, slashed his throat, ate some of his food, DA says: https://www.universalhub.com/crime/2...-door-unlocked

When you’re operating with that small of numbers, there can be big fluctuations in the percent increase and decrease that usually eventually even out. I wouldn’t panic yet.
