Two of the homicides were in the county (Catonsville & Swans Point) but the Baltimore sun counts them in total homicides figure because they died at UMD Shock Trauma Center located in the city.

In that case according to wmar I think the county is at 7. On pace for 34 or so. Better than the 55 from 2021.

Pittsburgh is at 13. Two of those were people shot and killed justifiably in officer-involved shootings. Not a bad start to the year after a very violent 2022.

Los Angeles hasn't been too bad niether. 30.6% drop YTD from 2022 and 41.1% for 2021 as of 03/04/23.

San Bernardino is still at 9 according to crime mapping.
Now Oakland otoh is still keeping up with it's rates as far as I know but lately the OPD hasn't been keeping up with their weekly records.

Jesus Christ only 7 more homicides in Houston than Dallas. What’s going on up there.
