I can't speak for other cities but I listen to Belling based out of Milwaukee so I know most crime is because of democrats soft on crime policies, particularly use of signature bonds. For the longest time they also had a no chase policy that criminals abused. They've also cut their police force by over 200 officers the last few years and the city council says that's not enough and wants to eliminate the recruiting of another 195.

This is getting old. So every major city in the country is run by Democrats. So every time there is crime in these cities, someone on this forum is quick to point finger.

Funny, but they never mention all the success of America’s cities. Indy, for example. The downtown is really beautiful and business is thriving:

NYC, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, Austin - these cities are all thriving, and they all have Democrat mayors. Why don’t you start a thread on all the great things happening in Democratic cities? Why not call out the continuing migration out of Republican rural areas and into democratic suburbs and cities?

What is getting old?

Sorry, but it seems like based on news stories on downtown Indianapolis is extremely violent.

Based on news reports from Indinapolis, seems like downtown Indianapolis is a warzone level of crime just like the majority of the rest of the city.

Atlanta thriving:

65% increase in homicides since 2019

Austin all-time record surpassed in early September 2021

@LOVECROWDS you're pathetic. So there is no crime happening in "republican cities or areas"? Like am I suppose to feel safe out in rural areas? Am I suppose to feel safe out in the suburbs? Please let me know genius because Ahmaud Arbery wasn't safe in republican satilla shores. He was murdered in republican satilla shores. So go some where a be quiet.

I have been a crime victim in Republican-ran places before. Robbery, assault, theft. I've had my share of issues in some Democratic ran areas. One reason I don't bring up political parties. I also suspect someone will bring up race. I'll bite on this. I've dealt with "Black on Black" violence a few times. One time it involved getting jumped by some underclass hood rat wannabes while on an evening jog. Another time I got assaulted and robbed. Both times it was in Republican-ran areas.

Look up Dallas. You'll be surprised.

We have a massive rise in crime in my area.

Red areas.

But, I do not blame either party.

Look at the news. 100,000 dead from overdose in the past year.

Those people are buying an illegal drug.

We, Americans, buy those drugs.

Drugs smuggled in.

It is why we are the number one target, and source, of drugs.

Why do we Americans need drugs so much?

Why is drug usage so up in even places likes Iowa, and Utah?

It is not political.

It is a nationwide problem.
