Christ has no religion and there are no rituals other than a remembrance act involved. He is God's Holy Spirit Incarnate and represents what God wants from us. He was very specific and very clear about what God is like. He unambiguously described His Holy Spirit in detail as agape love and forgiveness, instructed His disciples to do likewise to be identified as His followers, and then unmistakably demonstrated it on the Cross despite horrendously savage and brutal scourging and crucifixion!!! How it has been interpreted otherwise for over two millennia is beyond my ken!!!

Default What still needs to happen before Christ's Second Coming?

Nothing! It has already happened and He is here as the Comforter within our consciousness to guide us to the Truth God has "written in our hearts" with agape love and forgiveness!!! Stop ignoring Him in favor of our ancestors' primitive and barbaric interpretations of Him "written in ink." Read the Bible with the "mind of Christ," NOT the primitive mind of our ancestors.

Philippians 2:5-30 King James Version
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

The Holy Spirit IS the True Nature of God revealed, described, and demonstrated unambiguously by Jesus. He IS agape love, kindness, mercy, compassion, gentleness, unconditional acceptance, empathy, sympathy, tolerance, long-suffering, decency, friendliness, peacefulness, joyfulness, understanding, care, concern, solicitude, solicitousness, sensitivity, tender-heartedness, soft-heartedness, warm-heartedness, warmth, love, brotherly love, tenderness, gentleness, mercifulness, leniency, lenience, consideration, kindness, humanity, humaneness, kind-heartedness, charity, benevolence, and He is non-judgmental.

Looking around, there are lots of nervous jittery "Christians" who can't find perfection in Jesus, and his time on Earth and what he left behind. There's always some concern, drama, unrest, uneasiness that must be focused on. Very perverse. God is a mystery, Jesus is unrecognizable, and the Holy Spirit is nowhere to be found within them. If they can't even come to terms with the basics, they should drop the charade and be honest with themselves that they don't understand Christ and Christianity.

Oh wait, that's Jesus' teaching. We certainly can't go with that (wink) We've got to follow the lost humans, and the foaming-at-the-mouth / deranged apocalyptic types Chaos and unstable emotions will lead the way.
Jesus taught that we should seek first for the kingdom of God before we worry about our physical needs:

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself." (Matthew 6:33-34)

Nevertheless, he also taught that we should watch for his coming:

"Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." (Matthew 24:42-44)

Anyone who believes the Bible and understands Christianity knows that Christ will return again:

"And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." (Act 1:9-10)

Thats Universalism, Jesus was not ambiguous in walking in his father's religion while telling other to walk as he walked.

Then why didn't Jesus instruct His disciples to convert to Judaism and have THIS as His main message?? He instructed his disciples to love others over and over and over...NOT convert.

You simply can't make this stuff up. It's like a reverse Moses telling the Hebrews to return to Egypt (Christians return to Judaism) ?? Our actions define us Hani.

Hal, this is what you cant make up, how do you not know who you are?

Thessalonians

The Man of Sin

1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Dont be looking around for anti Christ, look in the mirror, you stand against everything called of God or worshioed of God becsuse you are the lawless one.

If that doesnt fit you, I will eat my dolphin sandles.

Nothing, except maybe the last elect vessel of mercy to be given repentance to the acknowledgement of the Truth. Because God isnt willing that any of them perish, but that all of them come to repentance 2 Pet 3:9

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The promise here I believe is Christs second coming Vs 4

But the world should remain until everyone of the elect are saved and come into the knowledge of the Truth 1 Tim 2:4

4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Its God who grants repentance to the acknowledging of the Truth 2 Tim 2:25

25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

Now in the meantime, I believe the man of sin has been revealed as per Pauls writing 2 Thess 2:3-4

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The man of sin isnt one man, its a grouping together of all false religions, that go in the name of Christianity, but some how will deny the Person and Work of the Lord Jesus Christ, and this can be done in a variety of ways, but the bottom line, man exalts himself in the matters of salvation. I dont think the world can get any much worse in that regards, so the man of sin reigns supreme, the time is ripe for the second coming.
