Although I cannot support most of the reasons for modern slavery.
Why would you support slavery.

Because when you defeat an enemy they should pay for it. That's just one reason.

Why would you not support it after you claimed both testaments support it?

Romans 10

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Until then, one remains an unredeemed sinner.
So do you still call yourself a sinner? Am I a sinner because, once freed, I say secular humanist? If it was an unconditional gift why are there conditions? Do you think God had motives for himself?

Christians are redeemed sinners.
Everyone is a sinner.
Because without faith, it is impossoble to please God. Hebrews 11:6
Not sure what you mean.

I'm not entirely sure either. It just seems harsh to me to call people sinners. I'm not so sure God is worried about me pleasing him.

God desires that you believe His Son.

John 3:16

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

Not according to the "by his stripes we are healed' scripture you quoted . If you are healed of sin you are no longer a sinner(this makes perfectly good sense to me). Or is it something different you believe we are healed from

You asked me for a bible verse where it states we are already free, well, by his striped we are healed is one of many that says that. You still struggle with sin because you believe you are still a sinner rather than healed from it.
