Hebrews 9

How could Jesus say, Your sins are forgiven, before He died on the cross?
Rubbish, Your lying evangelical Fathers taught you that. Jesus forgave without the shedding of blood. This is another case of a fundamentalist not using the bible literally only when it does not defend the false beliefs that they were nurtured on.

So in the OT there was no forgiveness? Or there was Forgiveness?

Why all the blood sacrifices if they all had to wait on a future sacrifice of Jesus??

Since he believes in some other god, then it is a topic for the 'Religion' forum. This forum is for Christian topics.

"Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them. Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain"

“In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit."

It is the evangelicals that believe is "another" god. The God I know has a direct relationship with Christ.

Again, this forum is for CHRISTIANITY, not "christian."

Was the God who created the flood a monster? Was the God who destroyed Sodom a monster? Is He the God who is being slandered as being HATEFUL, IMMATURE, OPPRESSIVE, INSECURE and MANIPULATIVE, and many other words?

No.

According to the New Testament, He is the same God as the one Christ called 'Abba' and 'Father'.

For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment; if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh and despise authority.

It seems some people come here for the sole purpose of venting out their anger against God, and against Christians. MysticPhd is a prime example, and there are many others. Everyone knows who they are.

Have some respect!!!!

From the rules:

I realize we are down to only one mod, having had three in the past, so it is impossible for him/her to weed out all the hate and disrespect. All we can hope for is even a fraction of respect, but quite obviously it is too much to ask for when it comes to certain posters.
Should we show those who believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster respect? As far as I'm concerned, I'm not attacking your God, he does not exist, I'm exposing what the bible really says about this mythical being, so many mistakenly claim to be a righteous being.

Equally mindboggling is that many now attempt to distance Jesus from this being in order to disassociate him from the horrific character he really is.
