It's beaucoup. Sometimes very intelligent and very well educated people who have been the military and have lived in the South like to write boo coo.

Daily I see all kinds of people write "alot." When will it become common knowledge that "alot" is not a word? "A lot" is the way it's written.

And people writing "advise" when it should be "advice," and many such similar words when a "c" sounds like an "s."
