A flyover is what we call a freeway or highway ( which I believe it is in the USA )

It's a colloquial term for a motorway ( it's proper name ).

It has absolutely nothing to do with islands or mainland etc.

I was just clarifying that us Brits call a flyover.

And granted I just went by that not the entire post
