So do I. I love British summers, especially since the southeast has the warmest summers so the rest of the Isles would be slightly cooler. If you're just doing casual walking the weather is perfect, but more than casual walking and the humidity quickly gets to you. It's basically Puerto Rico without the sun being 1/4 mile above you and 85°F with dew points around 70°F+.

We having a nice string of fantastic weather for over a week now, could get used to this

Yesterday Ontario temperature extremes were: 26.0c/79F at Earlton and -10.9c/12F at Fort Severn,
such a big range in temps is not too unsual, most people don't realize just how big Ontario is
(Ontario is almost as big as California and Texas combined)

Generalising again.

Or, rather, I summed up my experiences. I was told that this year was more "normal" and last year when I went was more cloudy than usual. It's still far more cloudy over there than here anyway, that is not generalizing.

There is still snow patches on the hills! It is bloody 15c outside. Maybe the frost yesterday is perserving it. I thought it would be gone by now.

You do realise that everyone has different temperature tolerances don't you? Not everything is measured on the 'Owen' scale...

To me 8C is nippy, especially this time of the year...
