I had to laugh at someone on the south-east thread saying 8c is nippy. Are they bloodywell foreal? It was -1c here yesterday!!

Well thats your problem you live in Buxton which has been warmer than here.

Yea but what your used to impacts it. I mean last year 15c would be quite cold.

And live in Massachusetts which gets colder winter temperatures and 8°C is still on the nippy side to me.

Weatherfan, my first British 15°C was muggy as hell ok?! lol Seriously, your weather there is extremely humid in the southeast

I guess. They don't normally reach high dew points from what I remember.

Dew points aren't high, but their temps are nowhere near as high as ours either, so they have high RH anyway, especially since they have low hanging cloud all the time and the frequent drizzle or shower. You'd think 70°F summers there are cool and comfortable, but the RH is really high up there.

We've gotten a couple days with 70°F in the afternoon and near 100% humidity. I rather like them, though obviously sticky.
