Happy that our region is definitely getting into a drier regime now - previously there have been far too many months with above average rainfall in the last 2-3 years.

Same here in the UK it seems we've had wetter than average months for years now with hardly any proper dry weather especially in the summer. Just rain, rain, rain. At least where I live. Every month this year bar March has had more than average rainfall, some months double the average.

Not the case at all here. Then again, we do seem to miss out on heavy rainfall most of the time.

16C ! I would contemplate putting heating on, if that was the temp in the house.

22C sounds far more civilized. but, I guess you will be playing around with it, since you've just got it.

they were actually trying it, i wouldnt put it a 16c, specially not today when the outside temp is 24c. Im gonna wait to the real hot days to start to actually try it and see how cold it needs to be. My plan is leaving it at 23c all summer though, hope thats cool enough

Beautiful morning here in Brisbane (honestly could say that a lot since I've been here). Am on a new bus route given our recent house move. This bus snakes its way through the suburb of Paddington with its windy, narrow and hilly roads. Very nice scenery and loads of attractive Queenslanders (referring to the houses). Happy to take this bus route everyday, more so when the blue sky dominates

Such a wonderful Thanksgiving. I can't remember the last time I ate so much food.

We had a couple over from England experience their first American Thanksgiving. They seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. They were quite excited to watch my father deep fry the turkey. Welcome to the good old USA.

Yum - that does sound good. Is the turkey battered?
