Happy to have gone skiing today. A low base of only 80cm/35 inches, but still okay. A nice bit of fluff in places. It was good to see a sunny day again.
Today we had a break from our typical pattern where every afternoon is in the 60's F.
We started out around 25 C/77 F at 10am and rose to 31 C/88 F under strong, hot westerly winds and mostly-sunny skies.
Today was perfect, except for the wind being strong enough it whistled in my ears.
This was the first day in Newcastle I've been comfortable with heating turned off.
I'm happy that I finally had a thunderstorm last night, the first in a very long time.

Looks like you got lucky, Williamtown was the warmest place in NSW yesterday. The record of 30.1C was broken too.
Well I'm happy to have seen the best T storm in years yesterday, even though I had to go out and "chase" it. Don't think I've heard a storm where the claps of thunder were overlapping each other like that I think there were about 3 at a time at one point LOL.
