My guess it will be for the Midwest. At least the first half. Not sure about the rest of the month

4hrs of snow.
4 hrs of sleet.

Most sleet I can remember. Usually it's for an hour than changes to rain.

Temp still 24° so the Low level cold air is hanging on. Might not even rain.

Good workout. Love it.

Still below freezing in higher elevations in Western Maryland......rain still falling. Lots of ice on the trees, .25+ easily.......not sure how to find out exactly how much. With a Wind Advisory coming, I think we are going to loose a lot of branches and trees.

Cumberland, MD forecast was completely screwed up. We dropped below freezing at about 9-10pm last night and stayed there until about 10-11am this morning. Plenty of ice on trees, power lines, my sidewalk, the road etc. Yet, if you had checked NOAA or Weather Channel during this event, they indicated we were above freezing and that only normal rain was falling. Hourly forecast on Weather Channel said the same, 34 and rain (NOAA hourly had us below freezing for at least part of the time it actually was.) I think some of those loop maps above show the same.......don't' believe them!

The dew points were off the charts today and the pollen is in full bloom as the oaks are 2 weeks early this year.

The rain has returned, so the snow pack probably has maxed out for the Puget sound region.
